Alexa Brancato, D.M.D.
Dr. Brancato is originally from Guilford, Connecticut. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where she earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Molecular and Cell Biology. Dr. Brancato also earned her D.M.D. degree from UConn. Shortly after earning her degree, Dr. Brancato moved to Wilmington to complete a General Practice Dental Residency at Christiana Care. She recently completed a Pediatric Dental Residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and is excited to be back in Delaware serving the pediatric and special needs community. Dr. Brancato is a board-eligible pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Brancato earned the Excellence and Commitment to Special Care Dentistry award from UConn in 2017 and was recognized as a Painless/Gentle Dentist in Delaware from Delaware Today in 2019. She’s an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Special Care Dental Association, in addition to the American Dental Association and Delaware State Dental Society.
