Ellie Baker, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Baker was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and is a graduate of Archmere Academy. In 2001, she graduated from Bucknell University, Phi Beta Kappa, and in 2007, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as Dean’s Scholar.
After graduating, Dr. Baker completed a General Practice Residency in 2008 at the same hospital where she volunteered as a high school student, Wilmington Hospital, Christiana Care. She continues to volunteer today as a faculty member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry.
She strives to continue the same philosophy of individual dental care her father and grandfather practiced. Dr. Baker finds it a privilege to treat her patients with their goals and wishes in mind. A continual student, Dr. Baker achieved a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry 2017.
Married to her wonderful husband Jon, she is mother to three daughters as well as several animals. Dr. Baker was named Mrs. Delaware United States 2009 and enjoys practicing her Spanish. She volunteers with the Girls Scouts, Give Kids a Smile, and her local church.
Dr. Baker loves to travel with her family and enjoys skiing, swimming, reading, cooking, and learning about everything.
Richard D. Bond, DDS
Dr. Bond received his dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice Residency at the Wilmington Medical Center/Christiana Care. Dr. Bond has been with Dental Associates of Delaware since 1984 and is a member of the American Dental Association, Delaware State Dental Society, and First State Implant Study Group. Along with the previous affiliations, he is also on the dental teaching staff at the Wilmington Hospital of the Christiana Care Health System, and was selected by his peers as a Delaware Today Top Dentist.
Dr. Bond is committed to providing the highest quality personalized dental care in a friendly and caring environment. It is especially important to him to spend ample time with each patient, in order to explain treatment options and perform each procedure.
Dr. Bond grew up locally in Claymont, DE where he earned the Eagle Scout Award. He also lead the University of Delaware Marching Band as Drum Major for three years. Dr. Bond enjoys scuba diving, skiing, and bodysurfing at LBI with his family.
H. Dean McSpadden, DDS, MAGD
Dr. McSpadden is a native of Wilmington who graduated from Friends School in 1967. After working as a musician for 5 years, he graduated with honors from the University of Delaware in 1976, from the state University of Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1980 and completed an internship at Wilmington Hospital in 1981. Dr. McSpadden received a Fellowship from The Academy of General Dentistry in 1985 and became a Master in the Academy in 2005. He is a member of the Delaware State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Restorative Dentistry and is past President of the Delaware State Dental Board. Dr. McSpadden is an authorized provider of Six Month Smiles (cosmetic braces) and Invisalign. As a member of The Crown Council, Dr. McSpadden has been involved with the National Smiles for Life Foundation that has raised over $20 million for children’s charities. Dr. McSpadden and his staff raised over $100,000 in Delaware for this cause.
