Oral Conscious Sedation

Oral conscious sedation in Ocean View is a safe, effective option for patients who feel anxious about dental treatment or have difficulty relaxing in the dental chair. Taken as a prescribed pill before your appointment, this form of sedation helps you feel deeply calm and at ease while remaining awake and able to respond to our team. Many patients describe the experience as peaceful and dreamlike, and the calming effects make longer or more complex procedures feel comfortable.

IV Sedation

IV sedation offers a deeper level of relaxation for patients who experience significant dental anxiety or are undergoing complex, lengthy procedures. Administered intravenously and carefully monitored throughout your visit, this form of sedation helps you feel deeply calm and unaware of surrounding activity, and most patients remember little to nothing about their appointment afterward—accounting for a stress-free and easy experience.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, offers a safe, gentle way to help patients feel calm, comfortable, and anxiety-free during dental treatment. Delivered through a small mask worn over the nose, this mild sedative creates a relaxed, lighthearted sensation while the patient remains fully awake and able to communicate with our team. Its effects wear off quickly after the mask is removed, allowing most patients to resume normal activities right after their visit.
