At-Home Whitening
The at-home whitening option, offered by all of our offices, consists of custom-fitted tooth whitening trays you use in the convenience of your home to brighten your smile. To begin, place a tooth-whitening solution inside the trays and then slip them over your teeth. You will be directed to wear the trays for a specified amount of time each day for several days or weeks, depending on what is prescribed for you.
BriteSmile In-Office Whitening (Brandywine Office)
We offer BriteSmile Professional Teeth Whitening System at our Brandywine Office. This is a fast whitening system that works by using a revolutionary “blue light” technology and a gentle whitening gel to safely whiten and brighten your teeth. The blue light works by activating the gel to help make your teeth much whiter in just one office visit. During your visit, you will receive three gel applications. The results are a dazzling, white smile in just a few hours.
Zoom In-Office Whitening (Hockessin Office)
The Zoom! in-office whitening offered by our Hockessin Office is a quick and easy way to effectively whiten your teeth. The Zoom! procedure generally takes 2 hours from start to finish. It begins with taking an impression of your teeth followed by isolating your gums so that the gel is only applied to the teeth. Then we apply special whitening gel that works together with the Zoom! Light to penetrate the teeth and break up the stains and discoloration. The gel remains on your teeth for approximately 15 minute intervals while the light is activated. After the first half hour the assistant will check the color. If satisfactory, then you are finished. If not, they will reapply the gel for 2 more intervals of 15 minutes, and check again. You will also have take home trays made and given to you for touch-ups at home. The results of Zoom! are immediate. Most patients notice that their teeth are up to seven shades whiter.
