Meet the Wilmington Office Doctor
Dakin Bond, D.M.D.
Dr. Bond grew up in Chadds Ford, PA and attended Unionville-Chadds Ford school district for his primary school education. Dr. Bond is a proud Blue Hen having graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Biochemistry from University of Delaware in 2016. He then matriculated in the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University for his dental education where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020. Dr. Bond received additional training at the Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital as part of the General Practice Residency program in 2020-2021.
Dr. Bond chose a career in dentistry after having witnessed his father as a dental practitioner of 30+ years bring health and happiness to the Delaware community. He strives to provide a personalized, holistic approach to dental treatment for his patients while continuing to incorporate the most innovative techniques and cutting-edge technologies to achieve the most optimal outcomes. Dr. Bond’s dedication to the community is demonstrated by his years of volunteering for Delaware Give Kids a Smile Day as well as mission trips in Pennsylvania and overseas in the underserved country Nepal.
Outside the office, Dr. Bond enjoys spending time on the beach with family and friends, surfing, skiing, hiking, biking, swimming and most any other way of living an active life!

Richard D. Bond, D.D.S.
Dr. Bond received his dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice Residency at the Wilmington Medical Center/Christiana Care. Dr. Bond has been with Dental Associates of Delaware since 1984 and is a member of the American Dental Association, Delaware State Dental Society, and First State Implant Study Group. Along with the previous affiliations, he is also on the dental teaching staff at the Wilmington Hospital of the Christiana Care Health System, and was selected by his peers as a Delaware Today Top Dentist.
Dr. Bond is committed to providing the highest quality personalized dental care in a friendly and caring environment. It is especially important to him to spend ample time with each patient, in order to explain treatment options and perform each procedure.
Dr. Bond grew up locally in Claymont, DE where he earned the Eagle Scout Award. He also lead the University of Delaware Marching Band as Drum Major for three years. Dr. Bond enjoys scuba diving, skiing, and bodysurfing at LBI with his family.
