The doctors and staff at Dental Associates of Delaware want to send a big shout out to all your dads out there and thank you for all you do! We’d also like to share a few ideas with our patients on ways you can make your dad smile this Father’s Day.
Make a Home Video
A sure-fire way to make your father happy is to get the whole gang involved in creating a home video that’s just for dad! This is easy to do using the camera on your smartphone. You can have everyone in the family tell dad how great he is. You can sing, tell jokes or come up with your own creative ways to show your dad that he means the world to you!
Do Some Chores & Make Dad Brunch
Any busy dad would appreciate being given the day off on Father’s Day while the rest of the family pitches in and does some chores. You can do some yard work or clean out the garage while your dad kicks back and enjoys his special day. To make the day even more special, have a family member who enjoys cooking whip up a great brunch for dad that includes a nice selection of his favorite foods.
Make Him a Gift Basket
A great idea for Father’s Day is to make your dad a gift basket filled with some of his favorite things. Some ideas to include are nuts, beer, gadgets, fishing gear or tools. Try to come up with a theme that centers around something your dad loves. For instance, if your dad loves to grill, you could use a cooler instead of a basket and fill it with things like grilling accessories, barbecue sauces, spices, marinades, and chips.
